Job Overview
In accordance with the House’s policy, overseen by the Boutique Manager/Director, the Stock Manager is responsible for the proper management of inventory and ensures the efficiency of sales through effective stock flow management.
Key responsibilities
Stock Supervision :
- Organize and participate in the receipt of deliveries (qualitative and quantitative control of received goods)
- Monitor forecasts to ensure product availability
- Ensure logical and efficient organization of storage areas
- Coordinate with sales and cashier teams on reservation management, and manage shipping and tracking for clients
- Define the schedule for rolling inventories, analyze and understand discrepancies
Stock Flow Management:
- Ensure proper stock flow to allow the sales team to focus entirely on client service
- Guarantee thorough knowledge and application of the procedures in place within Maison Goyard, including among the sales team
- Proactively implement new processes to better support teams and ensure excellent stock management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of stock management procedures
Team Management:
- Train and develop the team
- Allocate tasks within the team to ensure smooth operations and manage schedules
- Support sales and operations teams when business activity requires it
Required qualifications and skills
With a background in logistics, management, or supply chain, you have at least 5 years of experience in stock and flow management, ideally in the Retail sector, along with significant team management experience.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in team leadership and management
- Excellent command of inventory management tools
- Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to use advanced analytical tools
- Good understanding of the Retail environment and its operational challenges
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to anticipate and coordinate
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
