Maison Goyard is in search of a Product Manager on a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, the Product Manager will have the following responsibilities:

1/ Product Development :

• Participate in drawing up collection designs and briefs by product category.
• Report market needs and expectations to the Studio.
• Competitive analysis in terms of innovation, product features, price positioning.
• Development follow-up: product feedback with the Studio, constant monitoring of target RRP (Recommended Retail Price) in line with our quality standards and launch objectives.
• Monitoring of product development management tools: collecting, updating and verifying development-tracking documents.
• Monitoring of the schedule and preparation of meetings with the Studio, project managers and prototypists.
• Managing re-edition codes 

2/ Product Development Quality :

• Analyze quality risks throughout the development phases, all the way up to the industrial prototype phase.
• Be a driving force in the event of quality problems/alerts.
• Ensure compliance with norms and standards.
• Packaging validation.

3/ Product Coordination :

• Present the developments and their progress to the various associated departments (Sales merchandising, digital, planning and forecasting, etc.).
• Ensure that products are available for photo shoots.
• Transmit product information to Training.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of information provided to the teams.

Required qualifications and skills

Having graduated from a higher education at a business school, you have at least three years of experience as a product manager, ideally in leather goods. With excellent product awareness, you are knowledgeable in regards to the distinct features of raw materials, leather goods, manufacturing workshops and all stages of development. You have solid experience in project management and coordination. Rigorous, autonomous and organized, you are capable of prioritizing subjects, taking a step back and providing a structured vision, while demonstrating curiosity, an open mind and the ability to offer solutions. You are able to analyze and summarize, and have excellent writing skills. You have a perfect command of Pack Office and the software needed to showcase products. You thrive in multicultural environments. Your ability to work as part of a team, your speed of execution and your humility complete a profile that is both operational, creative and strategic. Fluency in English is imperative for this position.
