Job Overview

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Sales Forecasting Manager is the cornerstone between Sales, Finance and Supply Chain. Within a Supply Chain team undergoing transformation, you are responsible for building sales forecasts in collaboration with markets (9 countries) in line with the House's strategy. You manage a team of 3 people.

Key responsibilities

Ownership of the global sales forecasting process :

-Ensure the overall process calendar aligns with the House's key milestones (buying sessions, budget milestones, monthly validation in APS tool)

-Ensure proper functioning of the APS tool in response to business challenges (DSCP Dynasys)

-Ensure proper documentation and formalization of processes, and training materials for the sales forecasting community

-Define improvements to the sales forecasting process and tool in the context of supply chain transformation

Collaborative review with markets and sales forecast challenge :

-Feed and lead indicators and management tools to challenge market forecasts across the entire horizon (0-24 months) in line with the strategic plan (Bias, MAE, Forecast Accuracy)

-Lead monthly collaborative reviews with markets and Management for final validation of sales forecast

-Participate in new product buying sessions, translate purchases into forecasts, ensure alignment with overall existing/new product forecast

Sell-out performance monitoring and business reporting construction in relation to budgets :

-Monitor and analyze sell-out sales, seasonality and trends

-Produce and communicate reports to Management

-Contribute to alignment between forecasts, sales and budgets

Continuous improvement & Projects :

-Support continuous improvement of sales forecasting tools and processes in collaboration with the rest of the Supply Chain team

-Support innovation and optimization projects for sales forecasting

-Contribute to major initiatives with impact on sales forecasting (e.g. e-Commerce project)

Required qualifications and skills

Graduate with a Master's degree (engineering school, business school or university master), you have at least 8 years of experience in sales forecasting, ideally acquired in a retail environment and, preferably, in the luxury sector. You also have proven experience in team management, both hierarchical and functional.

You master sales forecasting processes and have a solid understanding of the supply chain. Your appetite for product and data allows you to evolve with ease in analytical and performance-oriented environments.

You possess advanced Excel expertise (macro, Power Pivot, Power Query) as well as good knowledge of BI tools, particularly Power BI. Knowledge of an APS such as Dynasys is an asset, as is your natural affinity with information systems.

Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills and strong assertiveness, you know how to combine rigor and compromise, take a step back and reconcile top-down and bottom-up approaches. Your analytical capacity, synthesis skills, as well as your rigor and reliability allow you to manage complex subjects effectively.

Agile, adaptable and customer-oriented, you operate with ease in a demanding environment where the savoir-être specific to the luxury sector is essential. Fluent English is imperative to succeed in this position.
