Job Overview
Under the responsibility of the Sales Merchandising Manager, the Sales Merchandiser M/F contributes to commercial performance by monitoring the product offer and its performance: the right product, in the right place, at the right time.
He/she works in close collaboration with all departments involved in the product lifecycle: product managers, production, distribution, regional teams and digital.
Key responsibilities
Sales Monitoring :
-Daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales analysis – KPI tracking with a view to proposing action plans
-Participation in monthly meetings with markets
-Cannibalisation analysis
-Ad hoc analyses
-Product stock monitoring and recommendations
-Proposals for the evolution of performance tracking tools
Participation in the Product Review (twice a year) :
-Preparation of sales documents for markets
-Participation in buying sessions
-Preparation of pre- and post-buying analyses
-Collection of qualitative feedback
-Sales vs. purchases tracking
Assortment Management :
-Participation in the core offer review
-Monitoring and challenging regional selections: non-core offer
Collection Structure Analysis :
-Product offer and product lifecycle analysis
-Update of collection documents for markets: Make to Order and Active Collection
-Collection and analysis of market opportunities
Management of Exceptional Pieces and Product Batches :
-Proposal of batches based on commercial opportunities
-Validation of annual potentials for exceptional pieces with regional teams
-Allocation of pieces and monitoring of their sell-through
360° Management :
-Acting as the preferred point of contact for regional teams: communication of launch dates and strategies, monitoring of qualitative feedback
-Building strong partnerships with the product development, visual merchandising, training and digital teams in order to influence and support growth
Required qualifications and skills
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Merchandiser or Business Analyst, ideally gained in a demanding and international environment. Holding a Master's degree (Bac+5), from a business school or equivalent, you have a genuine product sensibility and a solid understanding of leather goods craftsmanship.
With an excellent analytical mindset and ability to synthesise information, you are highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and demonstrate strong written communication skills in both French and English. Rigorous, organised and operationally efficient, you are able to manage priorities with method and reliability.
Your proactivity, your ease in both written and oral communication, as well as your ability to thrive in multicultural environments, will be key assets in successfully fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to you. You are fluent in English, a skill that is essential for daily interactions with international stakeholders.
