Job Overview

In alignment with the Maison’s policies defined by the Counter Director and in close collaboration with him/her, the Operations Manager is responsible for the overall organization of the counter. He/she oversees, coordinates, and controls all operational aspects of the counter, including maintenance, stock management, after‑sales service, and financial flows such as cash handling. He/she possesses full mastery of counter operations, interactions with support functions and service providers, as well as internal procedures. He/she acts as a key ambassador of the Maison’s values and heritage. He/she reports daily to the Counter Director and escalates all essential information required for the smooth running of the counter.

Key responsibilities

Counter Operations Management :
- Perform store opening and closing procedures;
- Manage rotating and fiscal inventories, ensuring flawless execution in line with Maison processes;
- Communicate schedules and results to Retail Operations;
- Supervise and coordinate back‑office teams, ensuring compliance with procedures and proper management of flows: packaging, stock, cash registers, after‑sales service, and distance selling;
- Oversee interventions by external service providers (air conditioning, cleaning, security, etc.);
- Prepare back‑office team schedules, including break planning.

Analysis and Reporting :
- Conduct numerical analyses (sales, performance indicators);
- Contribute to the drafting of daily and weekly reports;
- Control customer and boutique orders;
- Monitor and ensure compliance with counter management procedures;
- Manage operating expense budgets;
- Participate in monthly orders and weekly replenishments.

Customer Request Follow‑Up :
- Act as a liaison between the counter and the Customer Service department;
- Coordinate personalization and marking services;
- Monitor resolved stock‑out situations.

Required qualifications and skills

You have a solid educational background and a minimum of eight years of experience in the Retail sector, during which you have held similar positions and developed strong operational expertise. Your versatility, organizational skills, and rigor enable you to adapt quickly to your environment and support daily activity with efficiency. You have excellent interpersonal skills and speak fluent English, essential for thriving in an international context.

Your ability to lead and coordinate back‑office teams is a major asset, as is your commitment to delivering service excellence. You ensure smooth operations, uphold the Maison’s standards, and maintain seamless communication across teams while managing priorities with precision. Your dedication, service mindset, and professionalism are key to succeeding in this role.

You also demonstrate strong proficiency with digital tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), as well as cash register and after‑sales software. Knowledge of the Y2 Retail system is considered a valuable advantage.

From a technical standpoint, you possess strong writing skills and proven experience in team management and leadership. You are fully proficient in operational management and profit‑center oversight, cash handling techniques, financial and logistical flow management, and stock monitoring. Your product sensitivity and service orientation allow you to embody the standards of the luxury sector, while your mastery of after‑sales processes ensures an impeccable client experience.
