Job Overview

As an Operations Associate, you will embody the spirit and values of Goyard, supporting the boutique team in delivering an exceptional client experience through operational excellence, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the boutique, including inventory management, stock room organization, shipping, administrative responsibilities, and client service support, while fostering an environment that reflects the Maison’s heritage, family spirit, and commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

Boutique Operations

• Support the daily operations of the boutique and ensure all Goyard policies and procedures are followed.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the boutique team and sales associates.
• Maintain accurate operational records and tracking files required for audit purposes.
• Maintain repair, finish repair, daily operations, inventory movement, and marquage tracking records.
• Follow up with the After Sales department on special repair requests and coordinate submissions to the Paris team.
• Support additional operational projects as assigned by the Operations Manager or Boutique Director.

Shipping & Logistics

• Manage the boutique’s daily shipping requirements, including merchandise preparation, packing, FedEx label creation, and coordination of daily pickups.
• Ensure merchandise is prepared and shipped accurately and in accordance with boutique procedures.
• Coordinate merchandise requests and transfers with other Goyard boutiques.

Inventory Management

• Receive and process incoming monthly shipments in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately ticketed, recorded, and properly stored.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and communicate inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stock room in accordance with Goyard standards.
• Support the boutique’s biannual full inventory counts.
• Assist with stock room and sales floor mapping in preparation for biannual inventories.
• Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate inventory records.

Client Experience

• Assist with client phone and email inquiries relating to repairs and marquage, providing accurate and thoughtful information.
• Support Doorman / Greeter responsibilities as needed to ensure a welcoming and exceptional client experience.
• Assist with cashier responsibilities, including wrapping client purchases, maintaining organization, and processing sales accurately.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and boutique teams to ensure operational excellence supports the overall client experience.

Required qualifications and skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of retail operations, including customer service, sales procedures, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective partnerships within the team and organization.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand and remain active throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation Data

The appointed candidate will be offered a an hourly rate of $25.00 with the opportunity to participate on a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions.
