Job Overview
As a Floor Manager, you will embody the spirit and values of Goyard, supporting the boutique team in delivering an exceptional client experience while driving commercial performance with care, precision, and excellence. You will be responsible for supporting the daily management of the boutique, including client relationships, team development, operations, merchandising, and inventory, while fostering a culture that reflects the Maison’s heritage, family spirit, and commitment to excellence.
Key responsibilities
Client Experience
- Represent Goyard as a Brand Ambassador and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service and clienteling.
- Support the team in achieving sales goals and developing lasting client relationships.
- Address client needs and concerns with professionalism and care.
Team Leadership
- Support the management and development of the boutique team.
- Coach and motivate associates to achieve individual and boutique goals.
- Provide ongoing feedback and support to maintain high standards of service and performance.
- Ensure all team members uphold Goyard’s values, appearance, and service standards.
Boutique Operations
- Support the daily operations of the boutique and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming boutique environment.
- Ensure proper cash handling and register procedures.
- Support the execution of operational directives and maintain high standards of boutique presentation.
Merchandising & Visual
- Implement and maintain Goyard’s merchandising and visual guidelines.
- Ensure the selling floor is consistently pristine, organized, and reflective of the Maison.
- Protect the integrity and image of the brand throughout the boutique.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify and communicate product and inventory concerns in a timely manner.
- Support inventory accuracy and loss prevention initiatives.
- Lead and support biannual inventory counts.
Required qualifications and skills
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience
- Focus on leather goods sales is a plus
- Proven track record in achieving financial plans
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in leadership, motivation, training and development of retail staff.
- Capacity to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Pro-active approach to tasks.
- Strong proficiency in POS systems, as well as, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation Data
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary based of $110,000 plus the opportunity to participate on a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions.
