Job Overview
Goyard is looking for a Floor Manager for its Paris boutique.
Key responsibilities
As part of your duties, you will supervise a sales team and share Goyard's values with a demanding clientele, highlighting the full range of our crafts (trunk maker, leather goods maker, luggage maker) and our products. More specifically, and in accordance with the company's procedures, you will be involved in the following activities:
Sales animation :
-Monitor sales objectives in strict compliance with Goyard's procedures and commercial policies
-Organize the client welcoming and actively participate in the sales
-Regularly conduct Sales in order to spread example to the sales team
-Conduct morning briefings with the Boutique Manager or ASM
-Ensure that the boutique is well maintained (storage, presentation, cleanliness and comfort: music volume, temperature, etc.)
Supervision of the sales teams :
-Relay the action plans defined by the Boutique Manager and Goyard's strategy to the sales team
-Guarantee an irreproachable attitude and grooming of the team
-Support sales assistant’s integration and skills development
Administrative management :
-Monitor schedules (including break schedules) and alert management based on daily and seasonal business fluctuations to ensure an exceptional customer experience
-Regularly report on traffic and customer typology to adapt schedules to the floor activity
-Carry out the openings and closings of the boutique
Required qualifications and skills
You have solid experience (5 to 10 years) in managing a sales and consulting team in the luxury/retail sector and possess exemplary interpersonal skills.
Your ability to lead the sales team and ensure excellent service will enable you to succeed in the tasks assigned to you.
You are fluent in English, proficient in office software (Microsoft Office), and comfortable with cash register and after-sales service software.
You demonstrate leadership and know how to adapt to delicate situations (managing priorities, demanding customers).
